About the role
We're looking for a QA engineer to help us ship web and mobile apps that work first time for clients in healthcare, retail and fintech. You'll join project squads from the first sprint, write test plans alongside developers, build up our automated test suites and be the person who stops a bug before a client ever sees it.
This is a six-month remote contract with a strong chance of extension, working with our Dubai team.
What you'll do
- Write test plans and cases from user stories and Figma designs
- Test web and mobile apps across browsers, devices and RTL layouts
- Build and maintain automated tests with Playwright, Cypress or Appium
- Run regression, API and smoke tests before every client release
- Log clear, reproducible bugs in Jira and follow them through to fix
- Join sprint planning and demos to flag risks early
What we're looking for
- ✓3+ years in manual and automated QA for web or mobile apps
- ✓Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or Appium
- ✓Confident testing REST APIs with Postman or similar tools
- ✓Experience adding tests to CI pipelines such as GitHub Actions
- ✓A sharp eye for detail and clear, friendly bug reports
- ✓Fluent written English; Arabic is a bonus for RTL testing
