About the role
We're looking for a Laravel developer to build the APIs, admin panels and integrations behind the web and mobile apps we make for clients in retail, logistics and fintech. You'll work with front-end and Flutter developers in a small squad, own back-end features from database design to deployment, and keep our code clean, tested and well documented.
This is a six-month remote contract with a strong chance of extension, working with our Dubai team.
What you'll do
- Build REST APIs in Laravel for our React and Flutter apps
- Design MySQL or PostgreSQL schemas, migrations and efficient queries
- Integrate payment gateways, SMS providers and third-party APIs
- Build admin dashboards and back-office tools with Filament or Nova
- Write feature and unit tests with PHPUnit or Pest
- Deploy and monitor apps on AWS or DigitalOcean with Forge
What we're looking for
- ✓3+ years building production apps with Laravel and modern PHP
- ✓Strong knowledge of Eloquent, queues, events and caching
- ✓Solid SQL skills and experience optimising slow queries
- ✓Experience designing and documenting REST APIs
- ✓Comfortable with Git, code reviews and CI pipelines
- ✓Clear written English; Arabic or Urdu is a bonus
